Marriage during Bankruptcy
I am divorced and going to file bankruptcy. If I remarry during this process will this affect his credit or will the creditors go after him?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Bankruptcy and possible remarriage
Your bankruptcy attorney can better tell you the exact impact it will have on your situation, but generally, after filing mp creditor can go after collection of a debt to be discharged in bankruptcy. Everyone who's credit is intertwined with yours, even in a new marriage, will be effected.
