Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
I have an order from the judge that suggests I can go to state court to settle a dispute with the debtor.... I have withdrawn my proof Of claim and want to peruse the state court trial...
can I go now ask the court for permission to sue at state court or have I lost this because I withdrew my proof of claim...If I still can what is the procedure for making just a request... presently, I do not have an attorney. please Advise... Thanks!

You need to hire an creditor's rights attorney to review the order you looked at as well as your withdrawal of your proof of claim. If the order does not lift the bankruptcy stay, you probably need to file a motion to lift the bankruptcy stay, if you can still do so after withdrawing your proof of claim.
