Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
I reside in Texas and am going thru Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. My mortgage was not "included" in the bankruptcy. I can no longer afford to pay my mortgage and the bankruptcy payments. So I do understand that the house will be forclosed on. I have read in some paperwork that no one can force you to stay in the bankruptcy. My question is I currently have my bankruptcy payments taken from my payroll check. I am able to stop the payments from being taken?

One way would be to have the bankruptcy dismissed. Before taking such a step you should discuss your situation and options with a bankruptcy attorney.
