Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
time elapsed
Dear Sir/Madam;
I had to file for a chapter 7 bankruptcy on July 10, 1997.
Six years have gone bye and infortunaetly, I may need to do so agin. Is there a time frame that needs to pass between filing one chapter 7 to an other??? And what is the going rate for fileing one?
Thank you
Ed

You just made it on the time, but the trustees don't like to see "habituals." You should probably look in the mirror to see what you can do to really fix the problem this time. It costs $200 to file and the attorney will probably run between $1500 - $2500 for a simple Chapter 7.
