Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
I was told that if you get sued by a collection agency that bought the loan from the original crediture that they can not sue you because you have no contract with them?

Not true.
They bought the loan (or the note), so they step into the shoes of the original lender.
But if you get sued, you probably DO have some defenses. When the time comes, consider hiring a lawyer.
