Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
Will bankruptcy get rid of judgements? I have a judgement against me from several years ago (credit card debt). I didn't contest it because I was clinically depressed and had lost everything when my wife divorced me. Couldn't work and didn't own anything. Now I have an inheritance to consider. thanks alan

Yes. Bankruptcy wipes out debts, even debts that are represented by judgments (with a few exceptions - and credit card debt is NOT an exception).
