Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
I have a writ of garnishment against me in Texas,they have garnished my bank account. My question is can they go after me tax refund.

A creditor can get to non-exempt property. In Texas, the tax refund is non-exempt. I am unsure how they would get it directly from the IRS but if you put it in your bank account, you may have a problem. I recommend you talk to a bankruptcy attorney. Sometimes, they can get these writs lifted.
