Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
I am a 31% owner of a business in Texas. I have 2 other partners, one owning 49% and the other 20%. We are incorporated as an S Corp. The 49% ownership partner and I actually ran the business together until we had problems "gettin along" persay. Can the 20%"silent partner", and the 49% "working partner" decide to make me persay "quit" my working in the management of our business ?? What rights and say do I have in the business' operation decisions ?? How can I stop this from happening or what recourse can I take ?? Thank you

As a Franchise Attorney I can say it's not possible to answer your question in a vacuum. All documents including bylaws, minutes, shareholder agreements, employment agreements, etc. must be reviewed and considered given the factual background. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
