Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
3 years back pay
I was hired to run a new restaurant being built in Oct 03. My Salary was 70k with a 30k annual bonus of 2500 to be paid monthly until we opened the restaurant. I recieved myfirst bonus check and then my boss asked me to defer my bonus until we got our business open. Not it is Aug of 06 and my bonus is now sitting at 80k. I am thinking about leaving because he never pays my salary on time and I am expecting a baby. What is my recourse here?

If this agreement was in writing, you might have a better claim depending upon all the facts which you did not state in your inquiry. If you wish to discuss this further, contact me by e-mail.
