i have a baby do in two months and the mother took off. i was informed the mother is attempting to set my child up for adoption when born. how do i gain custody of my child.

First, you should file a Notice of Intent to Claim Paternity with the Texas Paternity Registry. Take a look here:
http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/vs/patreg/default.shtm
After the baby is born, you can file a paternity suit. You'll need a lawyer for this.
