Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Bad Investment
Good morning. I hope you are well.
I invested $50K as venture capital in a new pharmaceutical sales business. The business never even got off the ground (no sales or anything; they didn't raise enough money even to get going) and my $50K is gone. I signed a release when I made the investment. Do I have any legal recourse? I think not, since I did sign a release. Please advise. Many thanks.

We'd need to read the release to know what rights you may have in this. There are too many unanswered questions to give you more. Feel free to call.
Re: Bad Investment
What kind of release did you sign?
Re: Bad Investment
We would need to review the release. Were there any other documents signed as a basis for the startup and infusion of capital? Let us know if you would like to discuss.
