Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Boat carried off in flood waters
While staying at a camp-cabin accommodation, our boat which we were told only could be parked in the parking area right next to the creek was carried away in flood water, it was a flash flood and we did not have time to save it although we did attempt to, the cabin owners moved their cars but did not inform us of what was going on, we could not see, our cabin was up on a incline without any visibility to the creek and it was after midnight. They do not have any general liability on thir property and made us sign a release form, are they not resonsible for insuring guest property in an event like this? Please help...Thanks

They're not responsible for flash floods or other Acts of God.
