Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Can a business landlord refuse to deal with me if my husband is the person who s

We have a contract for sublease with a woman that does not want to deal with me any longer. My husband is the doctor and I am the secretary. She has informed him that she will no longer deal with me because his name is on the lease not mine. DBA is in my name but the lease was signed by him. She has always had to go through me for anything but is constantly trying to leave me out of the loop, when everything goes by me anyway. Can she demand to only deal with him, or can we legally refuse her demand? Does my position as his wife have any weight with the contract ''he'' signed?

Please help, Thanks.

The landlord is legally correct. You may need to have a power of attorney from your husband to force this woman to deal with you.
