Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
business
I run a one man recruiting (headhunting) agency. I was asked by a Milwaukee, Wisconsin company to email a resume for a manager position, which I did. We had no signed contract. I have several emails from the manager and also my candidate showing I was the cause of the hire. My fee is $30,000 and now the company refuses to recognize me as the cause of hire. Do I have a case, and if so, can you refer me to a lawyer?

Dependingg on what the emails say, you may have created a cyber contract even though you don't have a standard form. If you want to discuss this further, contact me by email.
Re: business
You may well have a case, depending upon the email correspondence. You have a choice of whether to sue them in Texas or Wisconsin.
I don't know any lawyers in your area. Look at www.martindale.com since they list all lawyers by area, practice, and whether they've been rated by their peers and judges they've appeared before.
