Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Used car pricing and Fraud
A used car was purchased three months ago. The book value of the car at this time is $5,200 less than the purchase price. Is there any legal recourse against the dealership for the discrepancy?

Re: Used car pricing and Fraud
This is a tricky area. The law doesn't protect an uninformed buyer from himself, in most cases.
If you can prove fraud by the dealership you may have a case. If you just paid too much because you didn't know values, you may be stuck.
The burden is on the buyer to do his homework on price.
