Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Had a client freak out and contact the BBB while I was on vacation for 3 weeks as I wasn't returning calls. It was over her weddings pictures and video. We were actually waiting for her to send us the picture list to create the album. I called her the night I returned and got her straightened out that I hadn't vanished but she had filed and the BBB even after speaking with her, wouldn't remove the file saying it would only be amended as resolved. Can I force the removal of it? Even resolved, I don't want it on there. Thank you.

As a Franchise Attorney I can tell you the BBB has their own, unique way of doing things. Probably your only recourse if they continue is to sue them, but that's expensive and problematic. And, at the end of that day, you may not get any further than you are right now. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
