Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Can a club call themselves incorporated?
I am a member of an online gaming community based in Texas called ''Pride Killers Inc.'' and I'm questioning the legality of us calling ourselves incorporated when we have not gone through the legality of becoming incorporated. Is it lawful for us to have ''Incorporated'' in our name when we are not incorporated?

Re: Can a club call themselves incorporated?
Surprisingly, there is nothing wrong with naming something "Incorporated" when it isn't, unless its done to defraud someone. A corporation must use "Company" or "Corporation" or "Incorporated" in its name. But any other entity can use those words as well.
