Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
can my company publish my picture?
I work for a large corporation, and I have asked for my picture to not be included in an online directory and provided no picture to the company. I find that a picture of me has been posted anyway. Can my company post my picture without my consent?

Re: can my company publish my picture?
First you'd have to check with Human Resources to see whether the rules and regulations for employees allows them to do that. Is there an employee's handbook? Does your religion forbid your photographic image?
Of course you can always sue your employer for violating your privacy. Then your picture wouldn't appear because you'd no longer be an employee.
I know you don't like your picture being published but you have to consider the consequences of any action you may consider.
