Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
My company was sued after it closed down. It was a corporation. they also sued me individually. i answered the petition saying we were no longer in business. I just recieved notice that a claim was put on and now giving a notice to sieze items. Can they do that. What can i do to stop this

Any attorney will say the only way to deal with this situation is to hire a lawyer. This should have been done when you were sued initially. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
