Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Conduct a training course
Party A is required by contract to conduct a training session for Party B. The training session is one month away, and Party B cancelled the training, claiming a lack of interest in the course. There were already 4 signed up for the course, and it has been stated before that 4 is a minimum number to hold the training. Party B has spent big $ advertising the course. Can the cancellation be considered a breach of the contract, and can Party B then stop spending money to advertise the course?

Re: Conduct a training course
It sure sounds like a clear breach of contract by B, IF the minimum of four sign-ups is written in the contract. If strictly verbal, you have a he said, she said contest with A having the burden of proof.
B, having canceled the course, can stop spending money on advertising. It doesn't make the breach any worse.
