Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Contest
I own a small business and want to know if it is legal to hold an essay contest to give it away. There will be a $100.00 entry fee. Will I need to contact an attorney for help in drawing up the contest rules? If so, what type of attorney could help with this?

Re: Contest
Although not required, you will be better to know that an attorney can include the language necessary to protect the parties involved. Any transactional attorney can help you with this.
