I Make products that another person will sell for me on consignment. I need to make sure we have a contract whereby they give me my percentage, and they get theirs, and how we settle who is responsible for price of item if items are stolen. do we state the percentage on the contract, and how is this done?

In short, yes.As with all business contracts, you need to have an attorney do it for you as there are too many provisions to address in this email response or even over the phone.
