Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Contract
A contract has a term of 5 years, but is evergreen and pay can be renegotiated after the 5 year term.
Termination requires a 6 mo notice and cannot be given until after the 5 year term. Is there any way the contract can be ended before 5 and a half years ?

Re: Contract
I'm assuming this is some sort of employment contract. There should be termination provisions in the contract that would control the outcome of what happens. If not, you would either have to negotiate a termination agreement, or have the court system determine it for you.
