Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
cosigner
I cosigned for my girlfriends car back in 2004. We split and she was not paying the notes on it so my finnance co. advised me to get the car so I did. I have been paying for it ever since. Now I want to trade it off and she will not sign the paper for me to do so. She says she might if I give her 1500 dollars.
Any advice??

Re: cosigner
You will need to review the specific terms of the original contract to see what specifics are set forth. Generally, if you were a co-signer on the contract, then you normally have the right to reposses the item due to lack of payment. If my law firm can assist you with this legal matter or any other legal issue, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).
