Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Can emails satisfy Statute of Fraud in Texas?

If there was an oral agreement and then later on confirmed with an email that describes the agreement, was a contract formed? Does this satisfy the statute of frauds? Is the contract enforceable? Will it be accepted as a signed memorandum?

Thanks.

I don't believe there's a case on point as yet, but it should probably satisfy the Statute of Frauds. Proving up the email may be a problem, though.
