My supervisor got the letter opened it without my kowledge tore it up along with the pictures. Does my supevisor have the right to do this?

Re: Employee Mail Rights
The supervisor was probably within his/her rights in opening the mail. A similiar issue has come up in the past with employee email. The law in most cases favors the employer.
