Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
enforceable non compete?
I started with a fire and water restoration company 4 months ago and they had to make cutbacks. I was laid off but ''re-hireable''. I had signed a non-compete. Can they enforce that?

Re: enforceable non compete?
The only correct answer is maybe. Depends on what you got as compensation for signing the non-compete - not necessarily money. If the true and complete answer is nothing, then, the answer is the non-compete is probably not enforceable.

Maybe, depending upon the circumstances of signing and the language of the agreement.
