Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Fidelity Bonds

I live in Texas and funds are being taken from my paycheck due to shift shortages. I work in an adult gaming room(casino) and we have a machine the calculates how much money went in and how much went out. This machine has been determined to mis-calculate the proper readings and therefore we also have been taking manual readings from the machines. Mangmt is aware of this defective equipment but stll removes the money from our paycheck. I am covered by a fidelity or surety bond by this company. Should I have been notified of the coverage and how can the employer take these funds from my check, collect from the insurance company and allow me to continue working for the company if I'm am ''dishonest'' I am not ''dishonest'' as this machine is incorrectly calculating shortages (this can be proven)thus causing me to lose my salary along with all other employee's
