Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
If I need to file a small court claim for $1200 for a service I paid to a mediation company but services never rendered and refund request is ignored, do I file it in my own City Justice of Peace court or I need to file it at the City the company is located? I live in Texas but the mediation service I is in California?

As a Franchise Attorney I would advise you to look at your contract with the mediation service. Small claims court has advisers that can help with these and other questions. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
