Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Trying to find out what kind of an attorney I will need to go after my ex husband for transferring my business from under my name to an LLC under his name without my permission. He established the LLC under his name only in Feb. 2009 but did not use the LLC until July 2010, after filing for divorce.

As a Franchise Attorney I can tell you the following. A good divorce attorney, familiar with divorces involving inter-family businesses, will be the best to assist you. There are a lot of issues to be researched, including the kind of business you had, when the transfer occurred and any interest he may have had in your business. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
