I recently wrote down an opinion I had on a napkin, like the ones you find in a resteraunt I left it in the employee break room by accedint, it was pick up by some one else, my empolyer would not tell me who, and now they have threatend to fire me. I just wanted to know if you could be fired for this and if so under what context would the termination be filed or catagorized.

Unless you have an employment agreement which speicifies certain conditions for termination, an employment in Texas is "at will", e.g. whatever suits the employer. An employer can fire an employee for a good reason, a bad reason or no reason at all unless the termination is because of age, race, sex, disability or national origin discrimination or unless the employee refused to violate a law.
