Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Good morning,
I want to create a PDF document with a check box for a disclaimer about electronic signature. Then they just have to type their name. Is it legal for contracts and confidentiality forms?

Dear Web owner
Yes its legal, however, some contracts, such as contracts to purchase real estate, may still require a hard signature to be enforceable (i.e. you can take them to court and rely on the contract alone to enforce your agreement).
