Grace Period
Can you please give me the legal explanation for a grace period as I thought it meant they wouldn't charge you anything till that time was over. i.e. payment due 1st, 15 days grace period, then late charge. Wouldnt extra interest start on that 16th day and not on the 2nd?

Look to the contract. If it isn't in there, then industry practice would come into play.
