If the grant writer at a non profit orginization lied on grants to get grant money and is no longer employed at the orginization, does the money have to be paid back?

As a Franchise Attorney I can only say the following. Usually any money obtained by fraud is subject to return. This would apply to grants given to non-profit organizations, as well as generally. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
