Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Hi,
There is a business (for example �my handbag online�). I helped this company to create their website for online business and developed it over several years.
I do own the domain name (www.myhandbagonline.com) personally but they have been paying for the Domain name (until 2012). This company owes me money for works that I did and they refuse to compensates me and pay my invoice. Can they take the domain from me legally? Can I turn around and sell the domain for amount that they owe me?

I assume that this question is not addressed in any written contract you have with the business.
That being the case, the domain belongs to you, even if someone else has been using it. You should write the business a polite letter, demand payment, give them a DATE time limit ("by close of business on April 3, 2011"), and tell them you're going to redirect the URL.
