Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Holding paycheck
Is it legal for an employer to hold a paycheck for no reason and make employee hunt the ''boss'' down to get his paycheck? This is the third time he has done this. Today is the 3rd and we still don't have the check. We should have had it last Thursday. What legal recourse do we have??

Re: Holding paycheck
File a complaint with the Texas Workforce Commisson, and start looking for a new job. When a business starts holding back pay, that usually means they're going broke.
