If my husband has a business in his name only and defaults on paying a contractor. Can the contractor put a judgement against me too?

No. You are not a party to the contract. You are a stranger to the transaction.
However, it is likely that COMMUNITY PROPERTY (of which you presumably own half), if it is non-exempt, could be seized to satisfy a judgment IF your husband is sued, and the plaintiff obtains a judgment, and gets a writ of execution issued.
