Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Incorporating a Small Business
I am opening a very small business that requires only my skills. I am confused as to whether I should incorporate or go sole proprietorship. Can you point me in the right direction?

Re: Incorporating a Small Business
There are a multitude of factors which will determine the proper form of business entity. Probably the most important is the question of business risk, since a sole proprietorship exposes you to business losses, while a corporation will give you a shield against such.
Please take a look at our website, www.bradie-law.com and read up on corporations versus partnerships, and what an LLC is.
