Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Independent Contractor Agreement Form or Service Agreement Form
I have a 6 month old Pet Sitting business (LLC) in Dallas, TX and will be adding a worker as an independent contractor (not an employee) to help me walk dogs and pet sit during the summer. Can you advise me whether to use a Service Agreement form or Independent Contract Agreement form. Can I purchase this through your company or where can I purchase the form. Also, do I need a ''hold harmless'' clause in case the contractor is bit. Please advise.
Thank you.

Re: Independent Contractor Agreement Form or Service Agreement Form
You'd be beter off with an independent contract agreement. You also want to deal with counsel in your area because there isn't a standard form.
