Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Information on Goverment Grants
I recently inquired information about getting a grant for a small business that I'm looking to aquire.
I received my information through a internet based consultant company that helps peolpe access and recive funds. They told me that I quailfied for a grant and was told I have to send $500 money order and sign a six page document and their attorneys would process my application, they also told me that I had 24 hours to express mail the forms and money to them. If I did not send in the application they would move on ''because they are time sentaive''. I would like to believe this is a legimate organzation, but is their such companies that represent comapniies/people to get goverment grants. Should I get legal advise before I precede. Thank you for taking my question and appreciate any input.

If you are uncomfortable with this arrangement, don't get into it. Scams are all over the internet. Look around for a legitimate source.
