Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
internet business
me and my mom are trying to start an internet business but can not come across any legal answers.you see my mom lives in louisiana and i live in houston.so we do not know what laws to follow.the internet business we want to start will be selling wholesale products and offering counseling services at a small fee of gaining a downline.what legal things do we need to start the business?since we are doing sales on product should we register for a sales tax number?do we need a business license?and how can we find out if everything we are doing will be appropriate for the business?please answer each and every one of my questions as clear as possible.i thank you so much for your time and legal advise!

You are going to have to engage a business lawyer if you intend to go into business in the way you seem to indicate.
Selling wholesale products and counseling services will cost appreciably more than the cost of a 'downline'.
