Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
James has inherited his late brothers house and decided to advertise some of the contents for sale. The items included an old vase that James thought was virtually worthless. He sold it for 5 to Susan, who knew that it was a Chinese antique vase and quite valuable. Susan then sold it to Robert for 500. Robert took the vase to an expert and was astonished to discover that it was an extremely rare example and worth at least 50,000. Susan and James have found out about this and would like to have their respective contracts set aside so that they can recover possession of the vase. Advise Susan and James whether either of them is likely to be successful.
