Laws dealing with filing for lost vehicle title
I recently gave an old pickup truck to my stepson he interngave it to his uncle . I have lost the title and now his uncle says if i dont file for a lost title i will go to prison. I have never sold or given this man anything,
is there any truth to his statement. and hwt are my legal obligations to this man.

When you gave the pickup to your stepson, did you give him the title, or did you just let him use the truck? If you gave it to him outright, you may need to file an affidavit of lost title with the DPS so a new title would issue. You can then sign the title over to your stepson and he can do with it as he wishes.
The kid's uncle is blowing smoke. You owe him nothing.
