do I need a license for handyman
work in texas? I mainly do Painting, Wallpapering, tiling and small carpentry jobs. I have a dba and have a name for my company, but work alone.

I don't believe you do for basic work like this, but you can make sure by contacting the licensing agencies for the state and your city and county. They'll confirm what you need to do because they will want the money for a license if you need one. You can find contact information online with a google search.
