Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
I live in Texas and my question is about a legal and binding partnership. Is a handshake and multible witness binding in court if one person and myself leave the company, do we have the right to sue for half the company or what it is worth?

Any attorney will say many partnerships are based on oral agreements. If a partner leaves a partnership there are a series of legal decisions that need to be made. You can't just sue for half the company. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
