Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
I have an LLC in Louisiana that has been inactive for about 10 years. I want to operate under an LLC, but now live in Texas. Can I use the Louisiana LLC and update with a new partnership?

What is the purpose of the LLC? I presume you're running a business. If you are operating in Texas and the bulk of your business is done in Texas, it is far easier to just form a new LLC with the Texas secretary of state.
Also, you say the Louisiana LLC is inactive. Does this mean all state filings and taxes are up to date and you just do not use it, or nothing has been done with it in 10 years?
Please provide more details.
