mechanic lien
If an apartment complex is selling and we have not filed a mechanic lien, of services performed on the property can we still file and get paid.

It all depends upon when the work was done. There are strict timetables for giving notice to the owner and the general contractor, and for filing the M&M Lien Affidavit. If you've busted the deadline for notice, your lien would not be valid. If you met the statutory requirements for notice, and busted the filing deadline, your lien would not be valid.
