Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Non-competitive Contractual Agreement
Are there any precedents in Texas regarding individuals who have signed non-compete clauses while working for a business; then, after having left the business (not fired, just left) operating a similar business? (The persons involved were trained in a specific area prior to even being hired by the business with whom they had signed the non-compete agreement.) Further information: The gentlemen involved are two who were trained in the technology field years prior to working for a company. (ONe actually owned his own very small company.)

Re: Non-competitive Contractual Agreement
There are many precedents in Texas case law concerning enforcement of non-compete agreements.
Whether or not the agreement is enforceable is strictly determined by the specific facts of the case.
