Notarization as part of the job description
I went to an interview today for a full-time job in a copy store. The individual informed me that part of my job would involve signing as a notary on legal documents. The employer has a Notary license - I do not. Is it legal for me to sign without a notary license, on behalf of the employer?

Notary commissions are "individual" and not "corporate." No, you cannot sign as a notary public unless YOU are a notary public. To view the Texas statutes for notaries, see:
