Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Paid Check
I just received my final paycheck 45 days after leaving the company. It was suppose to be for $1000 but it was for 530. There were deductions on my check that I did not ok. I would like to know if there is anything I can do? The charges were for a drug screen, use of a company phone and to replace a bumper on a truck that I did not damage. I was at a truck stop eating and another driver backed into me. Also there was a contract between us that was breeched by my employer, when in the contract it stated that payday was Saturday and on a number of occasions I would not recieve my paycheck til Wednesday or later. Any advice on this would be helpful.
